Here you will construct the bolts (or arrows) that your crossbow will use as projectiles. Start by taking one skewer.

1. Slit the skewer with your blade on the blunt end about 1 to 2 inches down. Again, be very careful. This will be the nock; it will keep the arrow on the bow string.
2. Take a very small piece of skewer and cut it in half, so it is about as big as the piece pictured.
3. Take the small piece and put it inside the slit you cut.
4. Wrap sting about 5 times around the skewer on each end of the small piece.
5. Cut out three pieces of paper in a triangular shape. These will be the fletchings.
6. Glue the fletchings on end of the arrow triangularly.
