Frogger made this slick rolling labstool/caddy at MITERS.
He tied a stool to the base from an office chair with wire.
It's a really good way to store a lot of stools so they can be pushed out of the way but not fall over.
It's lasted for years.

How about putting PVC pipe-ends, or cut down cans or something on the dolly, that way you don't need to sacrifice a stool for it? may not be as stable, especially for high stacks of stools, plus you loose the 'feature' of having a wheelie-stool...
