In the dorms our walls are push-pin friendly. I wanted a way to hang some posters of my drawings but did not want to use push-pins because they create holes. Luckily I love magnets. This solution should allow you to easily take down your poster and post it up some time else without creating and widening holes in your poster.

And just to advertise myself, if you wanted to see the Ringo Starr drawing, here's a link to my drawings on flickr.

Just an idea for those of us who like the push-pin look. Pull the pin out a push pin, glue the other magnet to the pin, and voila! Magnetic push pin. I like the poster hanging application, by the way. Well done.

ah yes, I suppose that would also be complete nondestructive to the poster instead of just mildly. I may try that.

I wish I knew this when our son had posters all over his bedroom walls. It's awesome! Thanks. I'll have to remember this when his son gets to that age.

i'd think for just paper photos ,one could use the rubber fridge magnets . those neodymium mags are Way strong ,you have the slide the pics off and on the wall or it can pull the tack out of the wall. They might be strong enough to hold medium size framed photos with larger headed little nails.
