Hanging Around Kitty Cat Earrings

Fun and easy Hanging around Kitty cat earrings.

Step 1: Materials Needed

I forgot to add earring posts sorry bout that!

Step 2: Form the Head

I always start out by rolling my clay into ball shapes. I then form the head in a triangle shape and make the ears pressing down the center of the head with my shaping end of my clay tool.

Step 3: Add the Peepers

Next I form to small yellow balls of clay for the eyes and roll ot some black clay for the pupils.

Step 4: Paws,Body and Tail

Take equal amounts of clay to form your paws  (the two small ones go onto the the head, and the two long paws go on the body). For the body I shape it a little narrow towards the top and a little wider at the bottom. Once all the paws are atatched I add the claw details with my clay tool. Ball up a small amount of clay and make your tail by rolling it out.

Step 5: Adding the Eye Pins and Tail

Now with your Round nose pliers make 6 eye pins with your 22 gauge wire and insert them into the body and tail.

Step 6: Time to Bake

I bake my clay at 275F for 30 minutes since I am using small amounts of clay. Once you are done baking, open the tail loop and attach it to the body. The head goes through the top of the body eye pin. Lasly, you need to super glue the earring stud to the back of the head!
Now you're done.
