Hanging fringed rug on wall

This method allows you to hang a fringed rug on the wall without damaging it.  Place the fringes on one end of the rug between two slender pieces of wood (e.g., 1in x 1 in) that have been cut a few inches wider than the rug.  Knot a (decorative) cord tightly around both pieces of wood on both sides of rug with a desired amount of length between the knots to allow the rug to be hung by the cord.
