Introduction: Heart-Shaped Chocolate Holder

A small basket that can hold small gifts for your valentine. A very quick, easy and cheap valentines day gift.

This is my entry for the Share The Love speed contest so if you like it please rate it.

Step 1: Materials

The materials you will need are things you should have lying around the house.

-velom(normal white printer paper will work fine aswell)
-tape
-ribbon
-scissors
-holepunch (not in picture)

Step 2: Folding

The first thing you must do is make the paper square. I find the fastest way to do this is to take the top right corner and fold it down to the left side makind both edges flush.

If you used the method above make 1 more fold from top left corner to bottom right corner making an "X" on the page. If you already had a square page make 2 folds creating an "X" also.

Next flip the page over make 2 more folds frome side-to-side and top-to-bottom.

Step 3: Make a Smaller Square

This can be quite tricky so I will try to explain it as well as I can.

Fold the page on one of the diagonal folds then push the corners up. You should see a "+ or star" then flatten it out by folding 2 "flaps"together on each side.

Step 4: Making a Heart

In this step simply draw a heart (for some reason bigger hearts work better)and cut it out.

Step 5: Making Pockets

After you cut it out you should have 3 layers or hearts top and bottom are connected and the middle should be two parts. By sliding one part of the middle heart behind the other. The two other hearts should have been pushed out, making two small pockets.

Step 6: Finishing

Now you can costomize your heart basket. I added a ribbon so it could be hung up. To do this punch a hole at the top and thread the ribbin through and tie it.

I hope you enjoyed my instructable!
