Heart shaped lantern

This is an awesome gift for valentines day as wells any other day! It is simple and doesn't require to much handy work.

Things you will need:

- Heart shaped cutouts made out of paper preferably. ( can be cut anyway you like, from using a machine or hand cut outs )

- A light bulb that will fit in your cylinder shape Acrylic or glass

- 110v receptacle with light bulb ( $2 - $15)

- glue gun

- 3d printer (to create the base and the top for the cylinder)

Step 1:

1.Print base and top of the cylinder shaped acrylic with the 3D printer.

(the bigger the diameter the wider it is)

You can easily create a ring on tinker cad or find different bases on tinkercad.com to gain files to be able to print what you want.

THIS WILL TAKE A WHILE SO DO IT FIRST AND LET IT SIT

Step 2:

Print out or cut out hearts attached together like a train of hearts to wrap on the inside of the glass or acrylic shaped like a cylinder.

Step 3:

Once the base and top are done you can start to assemble the pieces together putting the 110v receptacle with light bulb in and putting the hearts inside the acrylic or glass.

Step 4:

Use the glue gun to put glue around the top and bottom of the lantern to make sure the pieces hold together more stable.

Step 5:

Plug it into the wall and see if it works.
