Introduction: Heirloom Apricot Bars

2 1/2 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. honey
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c. dark chocolate chips
1/4 c. dried diced apricots  
1/4 c. dried cranberries
1/4 c. wheat bran
1/4 c. oat bran
1/4 c. flax meal
1/4 c. millet
1/4 c. sesame seeds
1/4 c. sunflower seeds

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9″ x 13″ baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine oats, honey and crunchy peanut butter and mix well. Add remaining ingredients one at a time to incorporate each one them fully. Pack the mixture tightly and evenly into the baking pan.  Place in Oven and turn oven temp down to 350 degrees and cook for 15-20 minutes, until nicely toasted or golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into individual bars.

Note: You can add any variety of ingredients, just don’t let the grand total of them exceed two cups.
