Introduction: Herb Garden

Picture of Herb Garden

With some left overs after a renovation project we made wall mounted herb garden.

Step 1: Finding the Right Material

For this project I used an old plank, a gutter and a matching pillar. I started by cutting everything in the right size.
I decided to make it almost squared, so when it grows, it will be a lot of greenery covering the wall.

Step 2: Assembling the Parts

This is really easy. With some screws you just put everything together the way you want it. Use a couple of ribs behind the planks to make the really stable.
When it's done, fill the gutters with soil and plant your herbs.

Thanks so much for this! I followed your idea and made a vertical garden out of an old door that I'd been saving for a good project. It cost about $50 total for the gutter, end caps, brackets, a bag of soil, and starter plants of basil, peppermint, oregano, and thyme. Assembly took less than an hour. Thanks for posting this!
