Hi- Liter Secret Compartment (That Still Works As a Pen)

Introduction: Hi- Liter Secret Compartment (That Still Works As a Pen)

A sneaky way to hide money or secret agent documents. And it still works as a pen!

Step 1: What You Need:

- Scissors
- Duct tape
- Needle nose pliers
- A Hi- Liter
- A DREMEL with grinding bit or a file

Step 2:

- Remove the base of the Hi- Liter with needle nose pliers
- Remove the ink pack
- Cut off all but about half an inch of the ink pack
- Take a strip of duct tape and place it over the cut edge of the ink pack
- Reinsert the ink pack

Step 3:

- Use the file or the DREMEL to remove the ridges on the cap that came out of the bottom of the Hi- Liter and the Hi- Liter itself until you can replace and remove the cap using your fingers with relative ease
- You may want to bend a section of paper clip into a hook to ease the removal of the contents

Step 4:

- To add the money or documents fold them lengthwise until the paper is about 1 inch wide, then roll them up
- Insert them into the Hi- Liter then put the cap back on
- I was able to fit 3 bills into the Hi- Liter with ease, and the paper clip hook

I just roll up Money and put it in a mustache tube. So I have a Mustache Cash Stash!!! Lol!

LOL szulli-randall!! I don't know what a mustache tube is but I want one. I feel this emptiness in me now that can only be filled with a Mustache Cash Stash!

It's a fake mustache with a plastic tube behind it. You put your money in it and wear the mustache so you then have a Mustache Cash Stash! I am totally going to make an instructable on how to make it now!

I might actually take something like that if I found it just sitting somewhere...and then the spy who is supposed to pick up the drop wouldn't have the important government documents, but ME! Seriously, if I found something like that sitting by the side of the road, I would actually pick it up and take it apart.

    Really? Why?

Just cuz. I, for some reason, have this sort of need to take stuff apart, and nobody really seems to mind if I take random stuff that I find by the side of the road. I have aquired several items this way, including a (an?) utility knife, a giant square steel washer, several click pens, and stuff like that.
