Introduction: Hidden Peanut Butter Safe

What better place to hide things than in a peanut butter jar?!

Step 1: Materials List

Peanut Butter Jar (Doesn't matter what kind)
Tape
Stuff to hide (I use a $20 bill)
Knife
Mouth

Step 2: Eat Some Peanut Butter.

You should scoop out some peanut butter from the top if you want, but it is not necessary.

Step 3: Place the Money in the Top of the Peanut Butter Jar (The Lid)

First Fold the money twice.
Then you should wrap it in paper towel.
Then Place in bottom of the lid
Secure with tape

Step 4: Screw on the Lid

Screw the lid on and you're done!

Sibling comes along to make a pb and j sandwich and see the paper towel and rip it open to find money!

yeah, but what happens when someone throws out the jar....?

Good idea, but it seems like too great a chance that someone might see your stash.

Many lids have a stiff paper or plastic lining. Peanut butter doesn't (at east my jar doesn't), but you could cut out a neat circle of shiny stiff paper or plastic to fit neatly inside the lid, and then stick it up over your stash with either two-sided sticky tape, or even a simple ring of Scotch tape.

When you need to get to your stash, just pry the plastic/paper liner up with the point of a knife, or a toothpick.
