Chocolade hagelslag is another Dutch word for it (sprinkles)

Yeah! "Hagelslag" is the word I was trying to think of.

Looks delicious.
Although I'm pretty sure that I know what they are, "muizenstrontjes" doesn't translate to English very well. It comes out as "mice little straw".

Ziet er heerlijk uit.
Hoewel ik ben er vrij zeker van dat ik weet wat ze zijn, "muizenstrontjes" niet vertalen naar het Engels zeer goed. Het komt uit als "muizen wat stro".

From what I read on Wikipedia about the "flat cheese," it seems to be rather bland. Would what we in the USA call cream cheese be similar in taste to what the author intended, or is it intended to be bland? Cream cheese frosting is delicious.

"Muizenstrontjes" (little mouse turds) are chocolate sprinkles. Quite a name! A sandwich of chocolate sprinkles, white cheese spread, and bananas makes the most delicious sandwich ever. I am glad Dutch has some resemblance to German and I have learned a bit of German.
