I told them, "I drink lot's of lemon juice", but that's a lie.
My secret is garlic in a juicer and strong black coffee, passing inside me using a tube, if you know what's enema means, it's a
way to put liquid inside you via your anus, using a simple device.
Of course I need to fast for all the solid waste to be removed easily, but I never fast long enough, I admit that I like food, and our family
have very social food tradition, we enjoy food alot. What I do is I fast continually, or they say, intermittent fasting.
As I have observed, some people who take longer fast like 40 days, never fast again, why? - because of course it's hard, as they experience it, but
for me, the key to fasting is that it must be fault-tolerant, with continuity. So if I can't fast for 2 days, then I'll eat, so I can fast for the
next day. and it works wonderfully well for me, besides the more you fast, the greater you increase the amount of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF),
which makes you much smarter, and can give you an attitude of an alpha-male--which is really cool!
So about the enema, I put 5 cloves (not the whole bulb) of garlic in a juicer, and dillute it in a 1.5L bottle filled with water, It's a great start to
coffee enema, since 1, it will kill the parasites in your colon (we all have parasites-FYI), 2, you get all the helpful benefits of garlic directly
into your bloodstream, and 3, you'll retain the coffee enema much efficiently (because you cannot retain garlic enema longer--trust me).
About the parasites, if your butt is itching, you'll need a garlic enema.
Then the coffee enema, I use strong black coffee, but I also use instant coffee, 6 tablespoon of coffee dilluted in 1.5L bottle, with warm body-temperature water.
Oh, coffee enema is the holy grail of all enemas, because 1, it filters your blood (because your liver acts like a dialysis machine to remove toxins in your blood),
2, releases the toxins in your liver and bile, 3, force your body to produce more glutathione-S-transferese antioxidant recycler, which is really popular among hollywood
stars, because glutathione not only benefits the body of anti-oxidants, it also has a side effect of making your skin glow.
Now coffee enema is different than taking L-Glutathione suppliments, because instead of weeks to see the results, you'll see the results in just minutes--literally!
So just look at the pictures to begin your enema right away, and by the way, use vitamin E to lubricate the tube, and don't forget to sterilize the tube in boiling hot water, before and after use.
You'll need a 1 meter tube, funnel, scissors, hot water or lighter.

LOL @ everyone arguing with Kiteman
If all you have to do is argue about an enema, then OMG you need to get a life!!!!!
Bottom line - do it if you want, else don't do it.
The only reason why people put coffee in them to induce a bowel movement due to its lubricating abilities. The only time medical professionals even use enemas is only in extreme emergencies. Otherwise it is done intravenously.
Besides sticking a dirty tube in your bum could cause an abrasion on the colon causing horrible infections.
For the safety of the uninformed I recommend you take this down.
Sorry.
Clebs doing this isn't a good recommendation.
I will bow to superior knowledge if a reputable source of information can be cited.
If one is constipated enough to consider an enema, one should increase the amount of fibre (roughage) and fluid in one's diet.
Any apparent benefits felt from this particular example of quackery will be purely due to the absorption of caffeine through the walls of the lower intestine, an effect which can be achieved with much less discomfort, and in more sociable conditions, with a nice cup of coffee.
The reason a garlic enema is "retained" so briefly is because the garlic is an irritant. It damages the lining of the intestines.
The effects of garlic on intestinal fauna are, at best, questionable. If it is toxic enough to damage them, it is toxic enough to damage you.
The wholesale slaughter of your internal ecosystem usually has long-term detrimental effects: clearing out the niches occupied by organisms that have grown and evolved along with you makes space for much less beneficial parasites, as can be testified by anybody who has had to take powerful antibiotics.
The antibiotics kill the native, "good" bacteria, and leave space for drug-resistant bacteria to spread unrestricted throughout the body - the bacteria living within you have co-evolved with you, and have been co-opted by your body as part of your immune system. Kill the bacteria you have, and they cannot defend your body against further infection.
I don't eat junk, I'm not overweight, and it's not "people that eat less live longer", it's "people who don't over-eat live longer".
Every reputable medical professional recognises that "detox" is a load of rubbish - the perceived benefit are nothing to with removing toxins from the body, but a placebo effect, enhanced by the concurrent abstention from imbibing poisons like alcohol and tobacco.
There is no cloned meat in your diet, GM crops have no effect on you as a consumer, and gamma irradiation leaves no traces in the food at all.
Countries like Japan used to outlive "Western" populations because they had a healthy diet, and an ingrained ethic of regular physical labour or exercise that prevented the explosion of obesity they are now adopting from the US.
Please, do a bit of research on reputable websites. Try sticking to google scholar at least.
It's impossible to believe that you take all the time to inform you about the matter in only a one-sided way.
1)Did you know that Charles Darwin quickly jot down every thing he could think of that contradicted his theory? He did so because he knew that he wanted his theory to be true so badly that he will quickly dismiss any contradiction.
2) Do you trust the FDA? Really? It's OK to you to be lazy and fat and then trust on tons of drugs?
3) "If one is constipated enough to consider an enema, one should increase the amount of fibre (roughage) and fluid in one's diet." -- If you claim you know too much, I'd recommend you to read about fiber. Fiber can be very rough on some persons, specially persons with IBS.
4)"The antibiotics kill the native, "good" bacteria, and leave space for drug-resistant bacteria to spread unrestricted throughout the body - the bacteria living within you have co-evolved with you, and have been co-opted by your body as part of your immune system. Kill the bacteria you have, and they cannot defend your body against further infection." Yes, true, antibiotic kill good bacteria but also kill bad bacteria. The primary defensor from infections is the immune system, no bacteria. Bacteria do not directly defend you from infections. Garlic tho, is a natural antibiotic, and not as damaging as prescription antibiotics. Garlic + Probiotics is a proven safe way of removing bad bacteria.
5) I myself have not have taken an enema. But I've read about it long because I'm interested. I've asked doctors. Turns out they are used by doctors. Turns out enemas have been safely used for centuries. I know of hundreds of people (online, anecdotical) who swear by them but won say because of people like you. Modern medicine is more quackery than enemas, modern medicine is aleviating symptoms and giving you a $100 usd prescription and the next appointment.
P.S. Sorry about my English, I'm not from the US.
2. I never mentioned the FDA, nor did I mention obesity or drugs.
3. Sufficient quantities of fibre are rough on nobody. It has no links with IBS.
4. False. No antibiotic only kills "bad" bacteria. No probiotic only benefits "good" bacteria. Just because something can be classified as "natural" does not make it good for you. Belladonna is perfectly natural.
5. Enemas given by qualified doctors for genuine medical reasons contain only water and/or lubricating oils to loosen and ease the passage of stools.
I have never claimed to know everything, but I know how to check my sources, I know how to recognise quackery, and, as the parent of a child with a long-term bowel disorder, I know exactly what I am talking about here.

I bet you looked at the pictures first!
Just because it is described using long, mis-spelled words, and the author claims it is popular with un-named Holloywood stars, that does not make it good science.
Read the Instructable properly, translate the long words into English, and the author even claims that starving yourself makes you smarter!
I'm sorry, but you seem to not be able to think beyond the obvious. What does the body needs to survive? Glucose for the brain and protein to repair itself.
There's something called ketosis, go google about it. You body is very well prepared to turn fat, into glucose. Protein is also taken from excess in your body. It's been documented that during long time without ingesting food, cells become smaller and more efficient, but not necessarily die from lack of aminoacids. During fasting, the digestive system heals its walls. Many cultures fast in order to gain spirituality. I've you are a believer: Jesus himself fasted for 40 days if I'm not mistaken; if you are not, what do you think, that thousands of years ago, during hard times, our ancestors went to the supermarket and eat 3 times a day every day?
Fasting is not common but done in the US, there are clinics for it. In Europe fasting is more common. There are many other reasons why fasting might be good (I haven't done it myself, but I'm open to the fact that they might be beneficial if you know what you are doing).
Again, there's anecdotical evidence of a lot of doctors and a lot of fasters, and most of them claim the same, gaining spirituality, healing from a lot of chronic conditions, and since health is beauty, i assume that's why they claim that they get compliments on their looks.
Kiteman, research Ketosis, amyloidosis.
Further question, why does it offend you so much that other people do things differently than yours and, without special interest in the topic, post in their instructables to ridicule them?
P.S. Sorry about my english, not my mother tongue.
The instructable is about enemas, not fasting.
The instructable, and many of the comments, are factually incorrect.
This is not a matter of opinion, it is a matter of properly documented medical facts. The only offensive comments in these comments have been directed at me, personally.
I have heard of ketosis, since it is a recognised sign of starvation, and a cause of major concern when recognised in pupils ("nail-polish breath"). But, if you're so convinced that fasting is good for you, perhaps you'd like to send your peer-reviewed medical research to the various famine-relief charities to let them know that they are wasting their time.
(I count two quack procedures you have defended without trying, basing your arguments entirely on hear-say. What's going to be next? Colloidal silver? Hulda zappers?)

Sorry fool, enemas are EXTREMELY good for you. Are you a homophobic as well? One of many psuedoscientific religious nuts?
Try Google Scholar for that exact phrase (don't you read posts before you try and disagree with them?), and you get exactly zero hits.
Do you know how Google works? Ever heard of Boolean logic? Leave off the quote-marks, and you get every website that mentions those words somewhere in it, even if they are not on the same page.
That's why you got links to the effects of anti-oxidants on (in the order you quote them)...
- enzyme transport in plants;
- rat eyesight;
- cellular-level immunomodulation
...when you were actually looking for the effects of an enema.Fool? Not me, my friend. One of the skills I have, as a science teacher, is the ability to read the stuff I intend to present as evidence in support of my position, and to realise when the presentation of that evidence would make me look like an uneducated troll, rather than the informed individual I actualy am.
(And where on earth do you come off accusing me of homophobia and religious pseudoscience? A word of advice for your future trolling activities - do a little bit of background-checking before you decide to take somebody on. Maybe you ought to go back to staying up late, eating Skittles and watching Vin Diesel films...)
2. That doesn't change the fact that my statement was correct.
3. But you were wrong.
4. So what?
5. Like I said, do your research.
6. Correcting facts is not trolling. Wandering around and calling people homophobic religious pseudoscientists without any genuine reason is trolling.
7. You
Anyway, feel free to have the last word if it makes you feel better, but you are now on my list of trolls to monitor. Have a nice life.
Enemas, also known as colon hydrotheraphy, are scientifically (google it) proven to be beneficial for :
* Clearer passage of nutrients into the blood
*Clearing the colon of old, hardened waste material and harmful toxins
*Increasing prevention of toxic absorption through healthy mucosa.
*Promoting a return of normal, orgasmic and regular bowel movements
*Providing a favorable environment for bacteria and micro-flora for digestion
*Restoring proper pH balance to the body
*Strengthening peristaltic (natural muscular contraction) activity of the colon
*Reshaping the colon http://www.steadyhealth.com/articles/Benefits_of_colon_hydrotherapy_a55.html
So let's review, enemas are not "but disgusting and disturbing.. " or" slushy poop". It is actually widely accepted in the medical community as providing innumerable benefits in the right situation.
Check the link's sources - a body-building supplement website, and a wikipedia article. If you had bothered to read the much more detailed wikipedia article, you would have been told, clearly, and directly, in only the third paragraph;
Further down, you are told:No scientific evidence supports the alleged benefits of colon cleansing. The bowel itself is not dirty and barring drugs, disease or mechanical blockage, cleans itself naturally without assistance. Certain enema preparations have been associated with heart attacks and electrolyte imbalances, and improperly prepared or used equipment can cause infection or damage to the bowel. Frequent colon cleansing can lead to dependence on enemas to defecate and some herbs may reduce the effectiveness of prescription drugs.
The benefits anecdotally attributed to colon cleansing are vague and the claims made by manufacturers and practitioners are based on a flawed understanding of the body. There is little evidence of actual benefit to the procedure, and no evidence that it can alleviate the symptoms that are attributed to the theories of colon cleansing. No surgeries, autopsies or other observations of colons have discovered any evidence of compacted feces or other evidence to support the theory of auto-intoxication or the need for colon cleansing.
And...Colon cleansing may disrupt the balance between bacteria and natural chemicals in the bowel, and may interfere with the colon's ability to shed dead cells.
All of which directly contradicts the claims you post, supposedly written by a Portuguese trainee neurosurgeon. The FDA has even warned manufacturers and suppliers of colon hydrotherapy equipment about making false claims of effectiveness, safety issues and quality control violations.
("Orgasmic bowel movements"? Why does nobody read the stuff they copy these days?)
Don't get me wrong. I love the Wikipedia project and have contributed a lot of edits myself, but you should realize that much of the material there reflects specific opinions and points of view.
Though thousands of people work on Wiki, that does not ensure that every article is well-balanced, nor necessarily even accurate. I believe that there are people, axe-grinders we might call them, who watch certain Wiki articles and "fix" them whenever an opinion contrary to their own is posted. This is true especially for topics that are sensitive, or political.
Wikipedia is an excellent source in general, but I encourage you to maintain your discrimination (in the sense of discernment, that is).
On top of that, the "doctor" has only quoted the bits from wikipedia which sound good, rather than the in-context points that contradict him. That is known as "quote mining", which is quite dishonest.
There is also the benefit that the filter in the colon is better than upper ones so it is FAR better of a "firewall"(to quote one of the ignorant imbeciles on here) than ingestion. It is also a much better method of hydration because of the way the water retention in our bodies work. It also has non-scientifically founded benefits such as the fact that you really will feel MUCH cleaner and more relaxed after an enema...
So,well done on putting this up and thank you.
i wont try it ..i rather drink the coffee and garlic..why bypass your body's "firewall" and blow yourself up when there is no real need for it..
its like overcloaking a computer without coolers
