Step 2: Disassemble Maglite

There are three parts of the flash light I will be referring to:
1. tail
2. body
3. head

1.On the tail you will need to remove the spring and the extra bulb, you wont be needing those. (refer to image #2)

2. On the body you will need to take out the bulb and the black bulb holder. (refer to image #3)

3. On the head you will need to remove the reflector. (refer to image #4)

Step 3: Cutting time!

(refer to image)
The rim is blocking the laser's path, so get a mini saw and drill the side till i become flush or almost flushed with the insides. A drill is also possible if you can find a big enough drill bit.

(video is to explain how i drilled the rim)
(of course it takes some time to drill the rim, took me about 5-10 minutes)

Step 4: Expo

Make some measurements, and cut the expo maker at the correct spot.
**make sure to use the side of the marker that is thiner**
Apply the thread seal tape on the end of the expo maker you will put into the flash light. Shove the marker into the end of the body. Use the pipe tape and seal the expo maker to the flash light.

Then, get the tail and apply the thread seal tape on the tail. you can screw the tail into the expo maker. Then use the pipe tape to seat the tail to the expo maker.

very nice idea to put in a maglite
Awesome idea, pretty cool and easy to do, I will have to try this out if I get a laser, then I can make some pretty awesome videos. Nice job.

I have an idea to make the laser have a On/Off feature, try keeping the spring in the cap of the laser, and have the spring come in contact with the battery and the side of the laser. That way when you put pressure on the spring, it will somehow turn on the laser.
