Draws 50 - 65 amps from the mains when ballasted and 80 - 100 when not ballasted.

Step 1: Obtain Enamelled Copper Wire

18 AWG For overwind

8 AWG for primary

For 230 VAC input, we are going to need 230 + 770 turns. One turn is about 40 cm, so get at least 400 meters.

Step 2: Wire It Up

High Voltage and high Current arcs
