Introduction: How to Make a Stonewasher

About: Feel free to check out my Instagram and youtube, they are both donttrustthepig. A wannabe machinist. I'm always trying to improve my techniques. Most of the time I'm making lantern keychains

This is a crude stonewasher for painted knives.

Step 1:

It's self explanatory

Step 2:

What you do is take a small bucket with a lid and put marbles, coins, and small smooth rocks in then add a small amount of water then shake it.

Step 3:

This will work on homemade knives that you have painted, all you do is put the knife in,put on the lid , and shake it. This is how my knife turned out.

What is the purpose? Cosmetic? It did leave your knife looking aged/worn, which I like.

Also, apart from the looks, it hides wear and actual use. If you have a satin finsih blade scrathes will show very easily.
