Introduction: Hook to Hang Things on in 30 Seconds

How often have you found yourself caught short in the office without a hook?

Don't be embarassed any more by your utter hooklessness.

Get that calendar on the wall in thirty seconds...

Step 1: Collect Your Materials

1. paperclip

2. sellotape

Step 2: Grasp the Paperclip this

Step 3: Twist

... the big bit of the paperclip through 90 degrees

Step 4: Tear Off

... a piece of tape

Step 5: Slide

... the tape through the small loop of the paperclip.

Step 6: Stick

... the tape to the wall

NB: The tape goes THROUGH the small loop, so that when weight goes on it the top of the loop bears down on the top of the tape.

Step 7: Hang

... things on it

Step 8: Beware

Now what could you possibly complain about with this one?

Ah! I know:

  • Don't hang anything heavy on it
  • Especially if you're planning to stand underneath

I will not be responsible if your skull is smashed and your brain cell irreparably damaged.

One paperclip was injured in the making of this instructable.

Here are some items which you would be unwise to hang on the hook you have just made.
