How David Blaine change Coffee to Coin (instructional video)
Here, I will explain how David Blaine change coffee to coin. This trick looks simple and convincing, but there's a lot of preparation behind all this. However, it can easily be done. You can do this in the next 30 mins if you have the required objects.

The video below explains it all, right from what you need to how to perform it. If you still don't understand how its done after watching the video, please move on to the next step

As a token of appreciation for viewing my Instructables, I have you another video I revealed, Criss Angel through glass. You can view it in the 3rd step of my instructables.Hope you like it!

Step 1What you will need

What you will need
«
  • C:\Documents and Settings\61693\Desktop\what you need.JPG
  • C:\Documents and Settings\61693\Desktop\small hole.JPG
This is what you will need to perform this trick.

1.A large cup

2.Smaller cup

3.Some tissue paper ( or a sponge)

4. A bag of coins (Preferably big ones)

5. A ball of newspaper

There will be a small hole under the large cup, small enough so that your finger can fit through

How to arrange them:

Put the tissue paper in the large cup, covering the hole.Next, put the smaller cup in the large cup tightly and make sure you cover the sides. Then, take the newspaper and stuff it in the small cup. The purpose of having newpaper is to make the cup lighter, so you don't need a lot of coins for this. Next pour in the coins in, it should stay above the newspaper. Make sure its on a suitable level ,slightly below the surface of the large cup. Now, you can pour in coffee, make sure its thick enough that you cannot se the coin inside.

the coffee would not dribble down your arm because if you have a sponge, it will soak it up. I rate this 5/5 stars!

It seems like the coffee would first soak the newspaper allowing it to get mushed down by the coins, and would then dribble out of bottom of the cup and down your arm.

If I remember correctly, didn't David Blaine take the guy's cup of coffee and do this?

The guy is usually placed in the audience and is an actor and part of the trick.
