Oooooo, we would have to make a die the size of a trashcan for ours. Cool. We used colored acetate from an art-supply place. Colored cellophane plastic for wrapping gift baskets didn't have enough color-filtering effect even when double layered.

While researching Caitlin's science fair project we came across this 3D anaglyph image thingy. It might be useful for you. We just googled for images to print out that worked. This had a lot of samples.
