Once done the holes for the eyes, the notch for the nose can be made using a half of the die.

Oooooo, we would have to make a die the size of a trashcan for ours. Cool. We used colored acetate from an art-supply place. Colored cellophane plastic for wrapping gift baskets didn't have enough color-filtering effect even when double layered.

I don't know the plastic my filters are made, maybe is acetate also. It is efficient.

I am self-learning some tips and tricks on 3D photo. Example: it is not convenient the main subject be red, blue or black. My wife loves the red clothes, then some anaglyphs are bad. My cat is black and white, then its 3D photos are also bad.

While researching Caitlin's science fair project we came across this 3D anaglyph image thingy. It might be useful for you. We just googled for images to print out that worked. This had a lot of samples.
