How to Age Paper With Tea

Antique paper adds classic style to a craft project. These simple steps will show you how to get the best results.

Use any kind of paper (printer paper, scrapbooking paper...).

Print or write on your paper.

Crumple your piece of paper and flat it.

Place the paper in a cookie tray.

Pour boiled water into a bowl.

Place tea bag(s) in the water to brew.

Pour slowly the tea onto the paper.

Lift up the edge of the paper to check if the tea has soaked through to the back side.

Allow the tea to sit and soak for 3 to 5 minutes.

Preheat your oven to the lowest setting.

Bake the sheet for 4 to 7 minutes or until the paper starts to curl.
