How to Boil Asparagus

Asparagus can be cooked many ways
If you do it in the oven you get crispy asparagus
By doing this method the asparagus will be soft

This is my favorite method because of the soft texture

I like to use asparagus as a side dish to steak and chicken Parmesan

Step 1: Materials

Sauce pan

Water

Salt

Asparagus, rinsed

Step 2: Steps

Add about an inch of water in a saucepan
Add a pinch of salt and boil the water
Chop off the brown ends of the asparagus and place into the sauce pan
Place the lid on the pan and boil for 5 minutes

Step 3: Results

Let the asparagus cool and sprinkle with pepper
Serve with any dish
