Beautiful!!!!!
Where else do you find the DC motors, other than treadmills?
Can you give some idea where to look?

It may not be in all models but Black and Decker have a very powerful permanent magnet motor in their lawnmowers. Wonderful to power a bicycle. Perhaps you can learn more by Googling a schematic of their different electric mowers.

I'm curious to discover your output voltage/current. You may have an opportunity to improve efficiency if you use a small gearbox. Have you researched the average wind speeds at your installation site?

Can't wait to hear how much power this is putting out!

Even if it just powered some CFLs or an iPad/Laptop I'd say you have a success story.

Great Intractable.
