Hey! So this is how to clean your Alex And Ani Bracelet. As owners of these might know, they tend to get dark spots on them, which I don't like. So, with that being said, here is how to get rid of them! Also, I called the company and asked them what kind of soap to use, so I'm not just making this up! Please let me know if this worked! Step 1: Supplies

1.) soft toothbrush
2.) dawn or palm olive dish soap.
3.) Alex And Ani Bracelet.
4.) water/sink or basin.
NOTE- warm water is for washing, cool water is for rinsing.

Step 2:

Fill sink with water. While the water is still running, squeeze some soap in there.

Step 3:

The water should end up looking like this.

Step 4:

Now, allow bracelets to soak in the water while we prep our toothbrush.

Step 5:

Pour a dab of soap on your toothbrush like you would with toothpaste.

Step 6:

If you have more than one bracelet, like me, then while you are cleaning one, allow the other to soak.

Step 7:

Choose a bracelet to start with and grab the toothbrush and GENTLY scrub the bracelet. If you scrub too hard the finish will come off (it happened to me unfortunately)

Step 8:

When cleaned, bracelet should look like this.

Step 9:

Once you have rinsed your bracelets with COOL water, dry thoroughly in a towel.

Step 10: Tips and Care

-use warm water in washing, cool water in rinsing.
- dry well before storing
-always remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, doing chores, or using abrasive cleaners
- never use jewelry cleaner
-avoid direct contact with beauty products
(Makeup), and perfume
- Alex And Ani Bracelets are made of recycled material, so it goes through an aging process, which is just the beauty of the bracelet.

Also, Alex and Ani bracelets are made from recycled brass and they have a Russian silver or Russian gold finish.
