Introduction: How To: Create a Business

In this short Instructable, I will help you begin your own small 'business'. Things I will be showing you include names, logo's, what your business will be about, and if your going to be serious about it or not. The Business I have created is a Machinima creating business named Heavily Armoured Studios ©. This means I use MMORPG's in order to create a video through recording in-game video of my own character and my friends', and have them go on small adventures. During this there will be talking animations, in which, I record my voice, and my friends', and organize the voices overtop of the actions so it -seems- like you are the one in the game. However, this instructable will show you how to create a basic business, of any sort.

Step 1: Components

The things you will be doing, to create you're very own business!

- Business Name
- Business Premise
- Business Plan
- Business Advertisement

Step 2: Planning

Get yourself a piece of paper and a pencil, because here comes the hardest part of every step you can even imagine! First, you'll need to come up with a name, of course, after you've figured out the type of Business you are creating. The easiest way to do this, is think of a bunch of random words, write them down, and start matching some of them together, then, at the end of the word's you've put together, follow it with Productions, Studios, Films, Animations, or, whatever your business is in-line with. Say you're Business was intwined with food, and the two words you had put together were Spice and Rice, you could follow it by Foods, 'Spice-Rice Foods'. My Business, 'Heavily Armoured Studios ©' I had come up with because the games I use always link to Medieval times, and, I used Studios to link to the fact that I am recording my work, but also, make it sound like the Studio is 'Armoured' like a Castle.

Step 3: The Blue-- No, Wait... Business-prints!

Now that you've got most of the hard parts out of the way, you should probably keep this all recorded, so you can remember. Remember, you don't want to give away your stuff to anyone, and always make sure your work is Copy-writed before moving on. All of my things are copy-writed to myself, I would ask that you do not use, or take the name, or logo of my Business I have created. I used my own Business as an example, it's time for you to make youre own. You've got a Name, and a premise for you're business, all you need is a plan. Is you're business going to be a serious one? Are you going to patten it, and make a profit perhaps, or is your business, for now, just going to be a non-profit organization. I plan on getting sponsered by YouTube, and get payed to create videos, therefore, I needed to actually Copy-write my things, to keep them safe.

Step 4: Times Up, Let's Do Business!

Now you're basic Business is up! If you are continue on to pattening it costs money based on where you live, the fee will change. Now that you've got your Business, you can continue on to create things, and maybe even take off with it. Remember, all Businesses start out small, so, what you will need to do is start whatever you're Business is about, and then begin advertising with: Videos, Commercials, T-Shirts, Pamphlets, and even Posters. Also, you will need friends or family to help you with certain things. For example, I will be needing my friends for my videos, because they, other then me, will be the main characters, and will be the key workers / helpers in my company. One last thing is to add you're name with the Copy write symbol on pretty much everything you do, losing your work to someone else is -not- fun. Hopefully you're business can take off, get bigger, and hopefully make you some money in the big world. Remember to give credit to anyone that helps you out, for example, movie credits! Have fun, from myself, and workers at Heavily Armoured Studios ©.
