I wonder if you can visually set off the optional steps in some way. It seems strange that they are part of the numerical steps when they are only optional. Thanks a lot guys! What a great blog this is! It’s precious in favor of my knowledge.see this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3llmvl3wMag

You're instructions are very precise, which is helpful when starting up an account. However, I was somewhat confused when you used the same photo for steps 2 and 3. It would have been more helpful instead of circling the entire dashboard, to circle the icon that you wanted the person to use. Also I think some pictures of the page that people will be posting on would be helpful. On the other hand, the video about choosing themes was very usefull at connecting your intructions to what the user will actually be doing. Overall this was good, but I think you could have used some more specific photos.
The screen shots for this set of instructions really helped a lot. As someone who has a Tumblr there were a few things I saw that could have been f ixed. For example, there is an easier way to find your previous posts so you can edit them, you do not have to go through the dashborad and scroll through all of them. One other thing I noticed was that while you did a very good job of explaining how to post text and video the other options that are on Tumblr for posting such as music files and pictures you seemed to leave out. One thing that I really like was that you taught people how to customize their blog, when I first joined Tumblr it took me forever to figure out how to do that on my own so letting people know in your instrustions was a great idea. Overall these instructions are very good though.
The pictures were well labeled. My only thought is that some of the steps around setting up the blog are very elementary. Simply saying "fill out the information form" or something of the sort would elevate the diction some.
This was a very simple tutorial. I tried out this website with the tutorial and navigation was clear and concise. Well done!
I like that you guys added how to personalize your blog. Instructions were very simple and your pictures helped me to navigate through tumblr even though I hadn't used it before. My only questions is that I can't seem to find a video? -ksheeran
Your instructions seemed very clear and concise which was convenient because it made it easy to follow and understand. The pictures also helped when trying to follow along. One suggestion I would have would be to condense some of the steps. A couple of the steps seemed as if they would fit appropriately into another step. (Joining two steps together). Other than that, I thought that your project was a success and professionally done.

- Ryan Antisdale
The screenshots worked well with the text, which was already worded very well. The main suggestion I would have is in the YouTube video of the instructions, use a screencasting program instead of just using a video camera and filming the computer screen itself. It just makes for a video that's easier to watch and follow.
The use of images along with the text was very helpful. I realy enjoyed reading through the instructions and they were very easy to understand. I have never used tumblr and after reading your instructions it seems like something that I will want to use.
I wonder if you can visually set off the optional steps in some way. It seems strange that they are part of the numerical steps when they are only optional.
This looks very professional and the video was especially helpful. The only suggestions I would have is to break up your instructions a little more with more detailed pictures because at times I found myself getting a little lost when there was four or more steps on one page of the instructions. I have never used tumblr and I created an account using these instructions with no major issues. Very well done!
