Instructables and ThinkGeek love a good prank, and in the spirit of the season, we're offering a bounty on the best Instructable that surprises, stymies, or just straight-up annoys your target.

The prank can be simple or complex, involve yarn or a supercomputer, but it must involve some physical object that you make for the prank. Extra points for originality!

The 1st place winner will win a $150 ThinkGeek gift certificate, an Annoy-a-tron 2.0, and a Phantom Keystroker V2. Two second place winners will each receive $50 ThinkGeek gift certificate, an Annoy-a-tron 2.0, and a Phantom Keystroker V2, and 6 runners-up will each win an Instructables prize bundle.

Winners will be determined by the evil ThinkGeek Overlords after a round of user voting.

Every dastardly plotter is a winner in our book, so each entrant will receive a ThinkGeek coupon code for $5 off $25+ or $10 off $40+ orders.

We'd wish you all luck, but it's probably your friends and family that will need it most. BWA HA HA HA.

hi im from mexico and i want know if i can paticipate
Which are the list of countries allowed. I hope it allows my country.
They have changed the description on the contest. It states that international entries are allowed so you can join :)
What if i said my country was iraq? its not
Then you could still enter but I would hope that your package is not driven in by car... (Black humor, in no means ment to offend you)
ok, im not black, in my instructabale you can clearly see what race i am
Sorry translation error. I meant to say "Dark humor" in dutch we call it "zwarte humor" and directly translated it would say "black humor" instead of the english "dark humor". My apologies
I am interested about this "dark humour(humor)" concept, would you please explain, preferably on my orange board as the owner of this board may be angry about small talk.
Like I read it international entries are allowed. But just to make sure... Are they? Thanks in advance.
international entries allowed if list of countries
I'm curious about the last part of rule number 7: "or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person."
Isn't that the point of this contest? At least to annoy....
Good catch - one presumes its the anti-trolling rule, and only applies to the online community. Pranking someone on ibles will win you the contest, and get you banned :S
