Pies are wonderful treats that can be made hundreds and thousands of deliciously different ways and we want to see yours. Submit your favorite pies to the Pie Contest to win a hardcover copy of The Pie and Pastry Bible and an Instructables Robot t-shirt!

Pies can be tricky to make so show us the steps of the process. We want to see your tips for making the crust and see how the filling is prepared and everything else. Finish off with a mouth-watering picture of the result to make everyone want to make it and eat it as well!

The pie can be your own original creation or from a recipe that's been passed down. What matters is that the photos and descriptions are yours. This is a speed contest so it's only open for a little over two weeks.

Hey, the OFFICIAL RULES state that August 18th is the cut-off date so I got some sleep last night and submitted my entry this morning. It's AWESOME! AND IRONIC HEALTHY CHOCOLATE BROWNIE PIE MADE WITH XOCAI CHOCOLATE AND RASPBERRY/BLACKBERRIES AND COOL WHIP. I CALL IT LIFE BY CHOCOLATE (instead of Death by Chocolate, get it?) So, am I too late, cause that would be sad, not just for me, but for those who love chocolate anything and want to make this scrumptious concoction. peace zipperup
They did, and that was a typo, but your pie was still allowed in.
Im new here... Do we have to alert anyone to be a part of a contest, or what should we do?
First and second prizes are the exact same thing, no?
Actually, no. The second prize is really the judges prize so it's decided by Instructables staff and not by users. I changed the title here to make it clearer.
