How To Enter the Converse Back to School in Style Contest
School starts soon, and everyone starts out with the same basic necessities - clothes, a backpack, school supplies, maybe a computer, and a boring dorm or bedroom. Converse wants to know: how do you take something standard-issue, and make it unique?

You like to express yourself creatively, and stand out of the crowd. Show us how you customize your room, your clothes, your electronics gear - anything, so long as you've given it your own personal style. Here's your chance to show off your own custom creation by sharing it on Instructables, and win some awesome Converse gear in the process!

Converse One helps you customize their classic sneakers to match your personal style - you make it what it is. Check out the website to design your own shoe! Pick a shoe, make it your own.

Multiple entries are allowed, but each entrant can only win one prize.

Wow - i'm almost done with a piece of furniture that actually fits this contest well. My good digital camera is being serviced though so my photos during the build are sub-par. I may still write it up though.

I have a pair of Vans high-tops, and I was going to customize them for this contest, but I'm not sure if they would be judged negatively due to the sponsorship by Converse (arguably the originator of the high-top look). Any comments?
