It's getting hot outside, which means it's time to freshen things up with some warm-weather sewing! We want to see what great summery projects you come up with, so we've teamed up with Singer to bring you the Summer Sewing Contest.

The rules are simple: make a new Instructable that shows how to sew up something to celebrate summer, and publish it before the contest ends. There's no limit to the function, or materials used in your project. Sewing is required, either with a sewing machine or by hand with a needle and thread.

We have some amazing prizes to give away, including an 8770 Curvy sewing machine, and the new 3323S Talent sewing machine! As an added bonus, every winner will also receive an Instructables Prize Pack that includes a t-shirt, patch, stickers, and a one-year Pro membership.

So get sewing and show us something summery! We can't wait to see what you'll make.

Instructables reserves the right to modify, cancel, postpone or end the contest at any time as necessary, at its sole discretion, or to disqualify any participant or winner, at its sole discretion, deemed to have cheated, destroyed, obstructed, or otherwise acted illegally or in bad faith in relation to this contest.
