How To Fix Your Stinger R34 Airsoft Gun

This instructable shows you how to fix the Stinger R34, although since the concept is generally similar for most spring-powered airsoft guns, you should be able to use this for other guns.

NOTE: Before doing this instructable make sure that the gun is discharged in a safe direction.

UPDATE: I added Step 12 since the super glue didn't do the trick. I recommend you do all the steps for maximum strength.

Step 1 The Tools

You don't need much.

Super Glue --Highly reccomended. Holds great.
Medium screwdriver--For removing screws around the rails
Small screwdriver --For removing screws on the side
Paper clip --For reinforcement, not shown in this instructable
Drill bit --For reinforcement, not shown in this instructable

i recommend doing the last step with a paper clip, not gluing it, it works so much better and my rifle shoots again!

I put mine back togeather but the thing that holds the bullets wont stay in and i was wondering if you have a picture of how the metal barrel looks on the inside of the gun

my cocking mechanism fell off when i took apart my gun how do i put it back on because i don't know where the spring goes

idk but I would probably take it apart somehow and look for a broken piece or a piece that's floating around

It all ready apart and i glued the part back together but the pump spring doesnt want to work right

Yesterday my gun broke inside the clip holder the tiny little piece that forces open the clip so the bbs come out now when i stick in my clip the bbs just sit there. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP

Superglue should do the trick.  If you're still stumped, post a picture.

well step 6 has the majority of the pieces where they should be. and step 5 might also be useful.

Maybe next time you can buy a real airsoft gun.
There are some chinese models, 90% metal builded with steel gearbox for less then 200$ (100$ if you buy directly from Honk Kong).

with full metal guns, you do not need to repair for a long time ;)

You Should change the title so it says "How to Fix your Stinger R34"

I purposely didn't do that because the concept of most spring loaded airsoft guns is about the same so if you know how one is put together and know how to fix it, you can proabably fix another

Well, then you should change it to, "How to fix your spring loaded Airsoft gun" I'm sure the same wouldn't apply to an AEG, or a Co2 gun.

I have that same gun. It was one of the first airsoft guns I bought. The pins on the trigger broke, so I had to dremel some of the internals off, drill a hole through the trigger and put in a new pin(actually just a screw). I also had to pun in a pin for the spring, it was one that held the spring for the trigger in place. 2 years later it still works! I don't use it, I've moved on to AEG's. I'd post a picture but I've since used it as a test piece for paint.

you should put a more powerful spring in it i have that same gun

i like this gun its the only $30 gun that has 300 fps but your lucky if it lasts you a month if you upgrade the gear box and add a metal barrel then you could put in a better spring

Yeah, but with my gun the piece that holds the gun cocked had snapped off so it couldn't be cocked
