No. An Instructable is a step-by-step guide showing how you made or did something - and this isn't.

Step 1 :Start your Engine How? and Active the APU Gen,Air Conditional.. The what? How? Conditional on what?.

Step 2 :Set your Flaps to 8 degrees.. How? Which switch is that?

Step 3 :Push Up the Throttle to Maximum so that your plane will move... Why? Will it not move if I only give it 99% throttle? Where is the throttle, anyway?

Step 4 :Slow Down the plane by Push Down the Throttle and Touch the Brakes...Bcoz you are not to be able to fly first...you must go to the runway....
I still don't know where the throttle is, and now I need brakes?? Where's the runway? How do I find it? How do I steer on the ground?

Step 5 :After you go to the runway...wait the Control tower Says"you are now clear to take off " How will I hear them? Do they shout loudly?

Step 6 :After he say " you are now clear to take off "Push the Throttle to Maximum and Using the Controller to Control your plane.... I still haven't found the throttle, and now I need a controller. What do I do with it to control the plane??

Step 7 :When the plane is run faster than...you can Pull the Controller so your plane will fly... Pull it? I haven't found it yet! But at least, once I've pulled it I can let go and relax because the plane will be flying...

Uh-oh, there's a mountian, I wonder how the plane will fly itself ar.....

no offence but this needs alot of work. i have a few flight hours and i DO know how to fly and land a small aircraft. someone who has NO idea will not know where to find anything at all. "WHERE IS THE THROTTLE?!!!" would be yelled many - a - time. the stall warning would sound after low speed is created, altitude dropped, possibly speed then increase and the plane would probably break up to be honest. you need hpurs of experience to understand all of this so i would reccomend taking heed of these instrustions

EDIT: would NOT reccomend taking heed of these instructables

obviously not complete but interesting none the less. You note on the image that the pedals (for your feet) are labelled brake! is this really the case? You've labelled throttle levers and flaps with brakes. I was under the impression the foot pedals are rudders. They always have been in things I've flown, but they're little gliders and what not, not giant jets. As for this is teaching terrorism, if it were then it isn't doing it very well, and secondly what do you think flight sims are for? Surely a terrorist would practice on a flight sim not harvest info from instructables.

This instructable teaches terrorists to fly our planes!!

haha...I think you are the terrorist..
Jun 28, 2009. 1:30 PMJakeTobak says:
And other Instructables teach them how to make LED throwies, what's your point?
Jun 28, 2009. 2:38 PMKevvixx says:
so you don't see a difference in flying airplanes into buildings and killing americans and harmless LED throwies???
Jun 28, 2009. 6:32 PMS1L3N7 SWAT says:
If you think that these instructions are anywhere close to providing adequate info on the operation of any airplane your a fool. A lot of people know the basic controls, but that doesn't mean they can fly a plane. As for the terrorist thing. There's that little hurdle of actually getting into a cockpit, which won't happen now especially with Air Marshals, highly secure cockpit doors and passengers who wont let that crap happen. So stop being so paranoid.
Jun 29, 2009. 3:37 PMKevvixx says:
I did not imply any of those things you just said that I did. I did not say that these were adequate, nor did I read the actual instructable. Also, for the "terrorist thing", it happened once, so never say never. I'm not paranoid, I'm worried about the safety of America.
Jun 29, 2009. 5:42 PMS1L3N7 SWAT says:
Yes, in fact you did. You posted a comment that said the following:

This instructable teaches terrorists to fly our planes!!

If you had read this sorry excuse for an instructable, you would have realized that it provides absolutely no viable information for anyone. Additionaly, the 787 hasn't even been flown yet, and the author seems to be confused as to exactly which aircraft he's referring to as he constantly mentions "Airbus." He's probably confusing the 787 with the Airbus A380.

Second. Terrorists have been hijacking planes for decades. As a matter of fact, in the 70's and 80's hijackings on foreign airlines were so common that it became standard operating procedure to follow the hijackers demands. The hijackers knew that the airlines would comply and pay the ransoms in return for the safety of the passengers and crew. It's quite similar to the current pirate situation of the coast of Africa.

Now the cockpits are highly reinforced and are not opened during flight, except in an emergency. In the days that hijackers could take control the cockpit doors were easy to get through. The chances of a person getting into the cockpit now are nearly impossible. We learn from our mistakes, unfortunately it took something as terrible as 9/11 for us to wise up.

I like how you said, "If you had read this.....instructable...," because I had said that I didn't.

No, I said:

Way to edit!

The point that I was making is that if you had actually read it, you would haven't felt the need to accuse it of aiding "terrorists", because it's terrible.
Jun 29, 2009. 8:19 PMJakeTobak says:
There are 4 steps, why didn't you read it before commenting? Or did you just look at the title and think, "Hey, I'm gonna troll this 'ible, no need to read it."
Jun 30, 2009. 6:45 AMKevvixx says:
you read my mind.
Jun 28, 2009. 3:58 PMJakeTobak says:
There's a difference in those two actions, but knowledge is knowledge and it's no one's place to say who can know what.
Jun 28, 2009. 7:38 AMJakeTobak says:
You might want to break step 3 up into multiple steps. Is landing important? Cause I didn't see anything about that.
Jun 29, 2009. 12:38 AMSamsmart93 says:
Haha...Actually landing is important....maybe you don't know about air plane so that you don't think about landing is important....you are very wrong
Jun 28, 2009. 12:33 PMKiteman says:
Not learning how to land makes US security organisations rather nervous ;-)
Jun 29, 2009. 4:52 AMironsmiter says:
it SHOULD make the future pilots nervous also! If it doesn't.. then there's something SERIOUSLY wrong. Now, knowing how to fly, but not land , say ... a piper... That I can see. Buy the plane. know how to fly. strap on parachute. land on your feet, instead of wheels. But a BOEING? those are EASY to land, if you happen to know where the auto-pilot switch is :-) That information SHOULD be included in the "how to fly" anyhow, as 75% or more of "flying" a jet that large is done on autopilot anyhow. Just my 2$(would be cents, but with inflation, and the economic recession...)

can you tell me how to land a airbus???

This is an Instructable about a Boeing, but you continually mention Airbus. I don't think you have half a clue about what your talking about.
Jun 28, 2009. 6:51 AMOroka says:
You forgot the part about fixing the wing join to the center wing box so your 787 doesn't fall out of the sky. This step may take 2-3 months.
