Before you begin knitting you will need a full loom of haute fur. You may choose any color you desire, the one being used in this DIY is called "twinkle." Next you will need knitting needles, for this particular pattern you will use 3 3/4 mm needles.

Step 2: Tying a Knot

You will start out by tying a simple knot on one of the needles. Make sure it is tight and sturdy so it does not slip off while you are knitting. You can also tie the string like you are tying a shoe, either way works use the knot that you are most comfortable with.

Step 3: Cast On

Step 1: Place your finger directly underneath the string and get ready to twist

Step 2 : Twist your fingers clockwise so that you create a loop in the string

Step 3: Once you have the loop made place the needle inside the loop, then remove your fingers from the loop and pull the extra string to make the loop tighter.

Step 4: Once you tighten the loop it should look like this.

Step 5: Now repeat this process until you achieve your desired width of the scarf, for this particular pattern I used 20 loops wich should look like this when you are done.

Step 4: Complete Row 1

To Complete Row 1:

Step 1:  Place the second needle into the first loop on the first needle.

Step 2: Keeping the the second needle in the first loop proceed and bring the extra string behind the second needle making half a loop.

Step 3: Now bring the second needle from the top of the first loop bringing the first loop to the seond needle.

Step 4: The loop has now hoped over to the second needle

Step 5: Repeat

Once you have finished our first row you must Repeat, Repeat, Repeat untll you achieve the desired lenghth of your scarf. The average length for a scarf is approx. 5 feet. By all means you may shorten or lengthen the scarf to your likings it will not affect the scarf in any way.

Step 6: Finish

Once you have reached your desired length you must tie off the end of the scarf to ensure that your pattern does not get loose over time.

Now you are done! You have finished your cute and sassy haute fur scarf, now go show it to the world.

The most important thing to remember is patience patience patience! I cannot stress that enough.
There are some things that could go wrong while knitting but remember not to get frustrated just do not repeat the same mistake again.

Problems You May Encounter:

-Twisted Cable: this happens when you start knitting on the wrong side of the needle
-Holes: this is caused by a dropped stitch or stitching two stiches at once

ENJOY!
