How To Leave School Early

 by Earthy Eric

Sometimes you make it to school in the morning, and you just don't want to be there. I'll be a senior in the fall, so needless to say, over the past eleven years I've gotten pretty creative and tweaked my system until it was flawless. So here it is, the method that never fails...

Best of Luck! This method has sent me home many times, hopefully it will do the same for you.

Step 1: Go to the bathroom.

Like all other good ways to go home, a trip to the bathroom sets the mood. Go to the bathroom, bring your cell phone, sit down on the toilet, and enjoy 7-10 minutes of your favorite game. If you're going to play some games, make sure your game settings are on silent.

If you don't bring your cellphone, just chill in the stall for a while. Or you can make a quick stop by your locker and get your calculator, TI-83/TI-84. I have a bunch of games on mine. Just relax and burn up some time.

the standards for being sent home varies from school to school. i have tried this many times and it has never failed me... what do you ususally do to go home?
mason0190 in reply to Earthy EricDec 15, 2009. 3:48 PM
go to the bathroom, intentionally cough a lot, i mean a LOT, and get my throat nice n' irritated. Then, get a rag and fdrench it in hot water. Wring it, then dab it on your forehead and in your ears. Squeeze the rest into your mouth. Then go to the nurse (quickly, you may cool down and lose your makeshift fever!) and complain of a sore throat. it'll look really irritated and red, and you will have a fever (the water was hot, right?). The nurse will likely send you home!

my school doesn't have running hot water...
kkibler in reply to Chowmix12May 17, 2011. 2:44 PM
Oh, god! What kind of school is that? Don't they know that hot water is better than cold to fight germs? If I were you, I'd go to the principal and complain about it, giving them "scientific evidence." They might do something about it. (And you can use the methods to go home.)
fourleafclover says: Jul 18, 2009. 2:17 AM
That would never work in my school! My teachers never fall for anything like that. The best I've done is saying that the back of my mouth hurts and I was told to just eat on the other side (of course my mouth didn't really hurt!)
kkibler in reply to fourleafcloverMay 17, 2011. 2:46 PM
how can you just eat in front of your mouth? You have to swallow it eventually! How STUPID are teachers nowadays?

You: Ok. *stubs toe on box in isle. . .picks up box* Yo, teach. . .whats T-N-T spell? Jus second. . .lemme hold this lighter a lil closer. . ." Teacher STOP! NOW! " *lights come on * You: Oh. I guess that was just a shoebox. The brand name of those shoes must have been T-N-T. Hope I didn't worry y'all." *teacher has minor heart atack.* Dudes, I think we got ourselves a day off! LOL

It's a science project.

My cell phone.
Okay.
A few hours later, during 6th Period: The bomb in your locker goes off.

A while ago (1st grade) i found that pushing in your neck bone makes yoou cough and leaves red marks inside your throaght, so i tried this, and i got sent home for "strep throat."
Laslo Paniflex says: Oct 14, 2008. 9:47 PM
As a grade seven teacher, I can vouch for this approach. It would definitely work well... once.
jchar77 in reply to Laslo PaniflexJan 16, 2009. 10:01 PM
Grade sevens get so dodgey when they want to go home...
Marsanni in reply to jchar77Aug 29, 2010. 7:32 AM
True, that.

Nextime you have a major gas pain, or stomach ache, THINK! Memorize where the pain is, And is it makes you yell ect. Reenact it.  I have abunch of deveous plans that DO work, but dont want to use them. NEVER TELL THE TEACHER that you were feeling sick before school. That's a big no.
Kelly271 says: Aug 11, 2009. 6:38 AM
This used to work out at my school I would just say "Can i go to the bathroom?" so they write me a pass and i would go home lol. It even got me and my friends out of a load of trouble a few times when they asked what we were doing skipping (i have a LONG history of this lol) we would say we are on our way down to the office to call home and we got away with it and got to go home XD couldn't believe it worked. Now the truancy officer has a room in that office she can see everyone who comes in if she suspects you are faking it (she does this to EVERYONE) you get a lecture from her and will have to be evaluated by her before you get to call home : / it blows its really hard to call home sick now even if you are really sick she send you back to class man i miss freshmen year : /

That really sucks :( It's like prison.
Thundertydus in reply to Kelly271Sep 9, 2009. 10:00 PM
My science teacher lets us go home anytime we want, but if we get caught, we have to tell them that we were going to the washroom The occasional kid ratted on the teacher, and the teacher (in front of us) Replied, "He just said he went to the wash room, but he never came back" Meanwhile we are all laughing

Hello
jchar77 in reply to FlumpkinsJan 16, 2009. 10:06 PM
I don't. Then again. I am scared of taking medicine. And when I'm scared, People can usually tell because I get stuttery and shake. And therefore I can be detected
Rock Soldier in reply to jchar77Jun 21, 2009. 8:05 PM
Use that to your advantage. Claim that you're kinda weak from being sick, so your legs are weak, and the stuttering part, i don't know, speak impediment?
cornflaker in reply to jchar77Feb 4, 2009. 2:42 AM
Just say you don't want to take any medication and that you don't like taking drugs because they can have unknown side effects or something they can't force it down your throat. Infact here in Australia they actually aren't even aloud to give us panadol (or anything) even if we want it.
left foot forward in reply to cornflakerFeb 10, 2009. 6:40 PM
same here but I'm in Tennessee(u.s.a.)
left foot forward in reply to left foot forwardFeb 10, 2009. 6:41 PM
we cant even take our own meds for when we are really sick
cornflaker in reply to left foot forwardFeb 11, 2009. 2:12 AM
Really? I think were aloud to take our own, but even if were not people still do.
Earthy Eric (author) in reply to FlumpkinsAug 22, 2008. 7:01 AM
Yea, I suppose this is a pretty common one, people just tend to freeze up when it comes down to doing it. thanks
Flumpkins in reply to Earthy EricAug 22, 2008. 7:11 AM
LOL... I sometimes go home if I'm the taddist bit nausouuse. Y'elcome
killerjackalope says: Jul 21, 2008. 5:10 PM
I still don't agree with faking sick, it has a limited amount of times it can work before they either send welfare or smell a spoof...

Here's my 'ible on leaving early... smart money's on the guy that disappears...
