How to Make a Fake Burn!

Step 1: Gather Materials!

I don't have a picture, but most of them will be shown in the 'ible :) -liquid latex -face paints -other makeup colors and things -old paint brushes -patience :-) -fake blood

Step 2: Outline the Burn Area

Outline the area you want to "burn" (ignore the cracks on the sides this was an on a whim project) I used a lip liner to do this

Step 3: Fill It In!

Fill in the area with red

Step 4: Outline

Outline the area in black then blend using your fingers or a sponge :-)

Step 5: Repeat Step 4!

This will add dimension and make it look more real

Step 6: High Light :-)

Highlight down the middle then blend. This has the same effect as the black edge except it brings it forward with the lighter color. I used an old light colored concealer

Step 7: Liquid Latex!

Outline the burn and parts of the unburned skin with liquid latex (warning!!! You will not be able to reuse a latexed brush!!!)

Step 8: Add BlOoD

While the latex dries, add fake blood >:D

Step 9: Rolll

Roll back the edges of the latex starting from the inside by flicking it with your finger.

Step 10: Done!
