How to Make a Realistic Human Hand

This is a ealistic hand that costs less than $2 and it is made from paper. This is my first instructable, so I hope you like it.

Step 1: Materials

Newspaper
Tape
Glue
Paints
Paper Towels

Step 2: Design

On a piece of paper, draw a hand with the shape that you want it. Think if it's going to be a human hand or a hand with a design.

Step 3: Interior of the Hand

Begin rolling up pieces of newspaper and taping them together. After that, make the bottom of the hand. Twist the fingers to give them the shape you want.

Step 4: Harden It

Cover it all in glue, then put the paper towel and be sure it doesn't bulk up. Repeat that step 10-20 times. The more you repeat it, the bigger and fatter it will turn. Let it dry for 24 hours.

Step 5: Painting

First, paint all the hand with the background color and let it dry. Next, draw the designs with permanent marker, and fill them in with paint.

Step 6: Show It Off!!!

I used in Odysey of the Mind and it helped my team to make it to the finals.
