Looking for a craft project to do with children that will help them stay active in fun ways as they move from point A to point B?

Make a "Walk of Fame" trail - have children create active posters that you tape to the wall or floor.

Step 1: Gather Supplies

Scissors, tape, pen, 5-7 sheets of blank paper, 5-7 lamination sheets or clear sheet protectors, glue stick and other craft supplies.

Step 2: Trace Star Shape on 5-7 Sheets of Paper

Step 3: Write an Active Word on Each Star

I used words from the AfterSchool Energizer word bank.

Step 4: Decorate Each Star

Step 5: Place Each Decorated Star Into a Sheet Protector

Step 6: Tape Each Star to the Ground in a Trail Like Format

Place signs in trail like format around your home, community center, faith center or out-of-school site. Encourage youth to move in fun ways as the go from point A to point B.
