this instructable will help you make a nice wooden dagger its simple to make you should have some skill with wood but very little enjoy this dagger but do not attack anyone with it

Step 1: Gathering Your Supplies

almost every thing can be found at lows

1st small piece of property stake about eleven inches long
2nd poplar wood strip for hand guard
3d gorilla glue
4th hack saw or any old saw
5th pocket knife or wood carving tools
6th sand paper

Step 2: Sanding

begin sanding the property stake the stake will form the handle and blade of the dagger sand until smooth

Step 3: Cutting

OK when done sanding take the saw and cut off the pointy end of the stake and then find were you want the hand guard to be and mark it now take your poplar wood strip and measure how long you wont your hand guard to be and cut off the rest if your very young get a parent to use the saw

Step 4: Forming the Hand Guard

mark around were you will cut out the hole in the middle of the hand guard take your pocket knife and dig into the wood be careful don't cut yourself keep cutting until it will fit on the property stake
again if your to young get a parent to do the cutting with the saw and pocket knife

Step 5: Glue Time and Waiting

if the hand guard fits in the property stake take the gorilla glue read the bottle and then begin gluing be careful not to get it all over the place a little goes a long way wait until dry

Step 6: Painting and Finishing Up

wants its dry it should look something like this now it needs some paint the handle can be any color but the blade should be silver i didnt find any silver so i left it plain
