Introduction: How to Make an Easy PCB Drill Using RC Car...!!!

How To Make An Easy PCB Drill Using  RC Toy Car and it is working
on (PCB,thin Plastic,Thin Wood,and any Thin Things ,etc..)
and its Awesome..!!! and Soooooo easy to made.

Step 1: Tools and Materials

You Will Need:

- An Old RC Car
- Wires
-DC Power Jack 
- 6 Volt  Transformer or 6 Volt Battery
- Thin Drill Bit or You Can Make Your Own
- Pen Tube
- Case For Your Drill You Can Use PVC As Case To Make it Look Like Dremel you can use a plastic egg like me


-Cutter or Scissors or X-acto Knife
-Phillips Screwdriver
-Solder Iron

Step 2: Get the Motor From the RC Car

we will get the motor from the RC car's gear box ,take the motor out from the gearbox using the screwdriver and remove the motor's gear.

Step 3: Connect Every Thing

connect the switch to the motor then connect the switch to the motor like shown in the picture using solder iron .

Step 4: Insert the Motor Inside the Case

first  make sure that the motor is the same size of the plastic egg then make holes in the egg for the wires and the motor's shift then  insert the wires and the motor's shift inside the plastic egg and close it and make secure it .

Step 5: Done!

just add your drill bit and make it secure with the plastic pin's tube and you are done and you can test it .

    that's pretty much the kind of drill those guys used to escape from alcatraz. except they used a vacuum motor, i think.


    it helped get them out. whether they made it from the island to the coast alive is something that's still debated. there's a movie with clint eastwood about it called "escape from alcatraz".

    I hope you will also show how to mount a drill bit on that. As far as I see, this would be the hardest part in this project

    yeah but i don't have the drill bit holder so you can use a pin tube

    Could you explain that in more detail? Perhaps you could make a video of how to attach the drill bits or include more photos in this instructable?
