Introduction: How to Make Easy Bead Decor!

About: Just a craft fanatic sharing what she makes with the world ^_^

Today I'm going to show you how to make easy and cheap bead decor! (Ages 7+)

All you need is:

Old boxes from your recycling bin

Varied beads (Make sure you have enough!)

Glue (I've found that tacky glue works best)

Scissors

Duck tape or packing tape

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Pick which beads you want, and get your box ready. To prepare your box for bead-ification, you'll need packing tape, or duck tape. Tape up all entrances or holes, and the places you aren't going to bead, like the back. Make sure your tape is smoothly placed for a neater look.

Step 2: Start Beading

Now that you've prepared your box, you're ready to start beading! DO NOT spread tacky glue on the entire thing. If you do that, then by the time you've finished half of the box, the other half will have dried up, and you would waste tacky glue. So spread tacky glue where you're currently beading, and add more when you're done beading there. (A good idea would be to do a shape in the middle, and then a contrast of that color around the shape...)

Step 3: Enjoy!

You've now created your very own beaded decor! Congratulations! You can keep it for yourself, or give it to a friend or family member! Hooray!
