Introduction: How to Make Flower Shaped Wire Wrapped Loop Link Unit to Form a Bracelet
Hi guys! This is a tutorial on how to make flower wire wrapped components to form a bracelet.
Materials:
1 round bead
About 6 - 8 small beads
6" 18ga or 20 ga round wire
Step 1:
Prepare about 4" 18 or 20ga round wires.
Step 2:
Grip the round nosed pliers about 1" from the top of the wire.
Step 3:
Twist the pliers through 90 degrees away from you, creating a right angle.
Step 4:
With your free hand, curve the top piece of wire towards you, shaping it tightly over the top of the pliers.
Step 5:
Keep curving until it crosses the other piece of wire, and remove the round-nosed pliers.
Step 6:
Grip the loop with pliers. Start wrapping the tail around the stem wire very neatly.
Step 7:
Wrap about 5 times, and close together. Snip close to the stem. Cut off excessive wires with cutter.
Step 8:
Thread a round bead into the other end of the wire and pull it towards to wrapped loop.
Step 9:
We are now ready to make a loop at the other end of the bead. Leave about 0.5cm from the bead and twist the pliers through 90 degrees away from you, creating a right angle.
Step 10:
With your free hand, curve the top piece of wire towards you, shaping it tightly over the top of the pliers.
Step 11:
Keep curving until it crosses the other piece of wire, and remove the pliers.
Step 12:
Grip the loop with pliers
Step 13:
Start wrapping the tail around the stem wire very neatly.
Step 14:
Wrap about 3 times. You notice there is some space left. We will complete the wrap to 5 times when we reach last step.
If you are making a plain wrapped loop link here. You may complete the wrap of 5 times to make it identical to the other end of the bead.
Step 15:
Thread about 8 small beads into the wire.
Step 16:
Wrap the small beads around the round bead.
Step 17:
Pull the wire into the hole as shown in picture.
Step 18:
Wrap the wire 2 times.
Step 19:
Cut off excessive wires.
Step 20:
Make as many flower link as neccessary. Link them together using jump ring.
Step 21:
