This is an instructable on how to make friends in awkard social settings if you don't really know anyone. (It might be slightly over exagerated...) enjoy.

Step 1: Find a Social Gathering.

These guys are super shy and don't know anyone.

Step 2: Complement Anything.

Here, the little French man sees the Mexican girl and is intrigued by her outfit. So he compliments it, and they find out they have lots in common culturally. This sparks a great conversation and the two become friends for the evening.

Step 3: Talk Politics.

Here, the Communist man sees the Tree Hugger and they spark up a conversation based on politics. They find out they have a lot in common.

Step 4: Exchange Contact Information

They quickly become friends and exchange contact information so they don't lose contact.

Step 5: Don't Feel Left Out

The other half of the group sees how easy it is to make friends...and are intrigued. They want to make friends too....

Step 6: Take Initiative

Blue guy sees the graffiti artist and remebering how French Man met Mexican Gal, he compliments the artist's outfit and they quickly become friends....Grafiti artist loves Blue's choice of attire for the evening. They also find out they have lots in common.

Step 7: Again, Exchange Contact Information

They also exchange contact information, knowing that they'll be best friends for life.

Step 8: Don't Leave Anyone Left Out!

Being lonely is a horrible feeling. Blue and Grafiti artist see lonely creepster in the corner and don't want him to feel left out, so they begin conversation and find out they all love the same things :) His confidence is quickly boosted and doesn't feel left out anymore.

Step 9: Group Hug

Soon, this gathering turns into a bumping party and everyone is meeting new people and their sense of insecurity is gone. At the end everyone exchanges contact information and quickly becomes friends. :)
