Introduction: How to Make Peanut Butter Rudolph the Reindeer Cookies
These are crazy easy and super cute!
Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie MIx (and ingredients required for mix)
White Icing (I used cream cheese frosting =)
1 sandwich zip lock bag
1 package of Flipz chocolate covered pretzels (found in the candy aisle at Walmart)
Mix up Cookie mix according to package instructions. Place a TBL spoon of cookie dough on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. SLIGHTLY flatten and pinch the sides with your fingers. Place in oven and bake as directed.
DO NOT PLACE chocolate covered pretzels on cookie BEFORE baking. If you use chocolate pretzels (they taste SO MUCH better than plain, place them on immediately after coming out of oven then stick in fridge to keep the chocolate from melting on warm cookie)
Once cookies come out of the oven place two chocolate covered pretzels on each cookie quickly before cookies lose their "stick"
To keep them from melting I placed the cookie sheet with the antlered cookies outside (it's cold where I live right now =) The cookie was still chewy and the chocolate only slightly melted but then cooled outside =)
Once cookies are antlered and cooled. Sort your Minis into colors. I did red nose and brown and blue eyed reindeers.
I put the frosting in a zip lock bag and cut a tiny hole off the corner of the bag to "dot" the frosting onto the cookies where the eyes and nose would be. The frosting acts as your "glue"
Place your minis on with the "M" facing down so it's not seen and you're done =)
