Imagine that you have portable 220v solar pwered outlet which is small so you can carry in backpack and power your 220v powered devices anywhere with the power of sun.

Recently i saw these cheap 220v converter on ebay for (2.46$) ,the ebay sellers doesn't have enough information about this product so I decided to test myself, about its power ratings and other things here's my video

This project needs only 2 components so it can be made under 2 minutes and there are only 2 connection that you require to make ,so i would say it is one of the easiest projects

Good idea, but just note:

1) The PV panel you quote is < 5W. This will not even power a small 220 V LED lamp, let alone any other device.

2) The inverter is likely producing a squarish wave, nothing very close to a good sine wave. This works for many devices, but not for all; and may cause damage to sensitive devices.

your thoughts are really helpful ,yes its cheap Chinese inverter ,but considering its price its good enough
i tested its output ,it gives square wave at 147 khz (not 50Hz) .

I'm really hoping that the 147KHz output you measured is the result of PWM-switching, and that the square wave is changing duty cycle gradually back and forth at about 50Hz!! To give a "pseudo sine wave". Look up Class-D amplifiers if you don't know what I mean.

Otherwise anything transformer based will be really unhappy with 147KHz.

Ideally the carrier frequency (147K) would be filtered out with inductors/capacitors.

yes,but branded products should have mov ,suppression diode or fastblow recovery pptc fuse ,so that doesn't cause problems in it ,i think.

hmm, random thought here, wont a appropriate capacitor solve the wave problem? like the ones found in TL-Lighting?
