Take your toilet paper or other absorbent sheeting and blot up what ever foulness erupted forth from your pimple, you may apply light pressure to the area to sap out whatever is left inside. Get a clean sheet of TP and wipe the ex-zit and the surrounding area to prevent infection.
Congratulations, you have just popped a pimple.
To prevent pimples from appearing in the first place, wash your face regularly, as in at least once a day, with an exfoliating or anti zit soap.
I hope you have found this Instructable helpful, and remember, a zit free face comes with responsibilities, you gotta keep it clean and, watch out for the opposite sex will simply gravitate to your obstruction free face : )

Have to wipe the flamed needle with an alcohol wipe, use at least 70% isopropyl and you're good to go

I happened to read a "skin care" book (a heavy duty one by a doctor) and came across, among all the dietary suggestions, this GEM of information:

Many commercial "anti-pimple" cremes are -inflammatory- agents because they act to dry out the natural oils of the skin and have astringent ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astringent ) properties that pucker the visible pimple site's size for a time, but irritate the skin to cause pimples to continue to return.

The advice of the book was, DO NOT USE ASTRINGENT ANTI-PIMPLE CREAMS, they'll clear things up for the short term but make the pimples return long term. USE ANTI-BIOTIC CREME! After this common sense revelation, I started using Neosporin instead of the anti-pimple creme that I had tried before, and the change worked wonders, I really recommend it.
wat u mean anti biotic?
Question. If I do this...would it leave a scar?

i actually like your hat, and pretty interesting instructable. you might want to consider the cinged needle. maybe try putting it in hot water. you don't necessarily want the residue from the burnt match which settles on the needle going into your skin. NOT exactly the best idea.

My Mom use to tell me: " If you eat a lot of CELERY STICKS you won't get any pimples! " And guess what, it works!!! Although if you put cream cheese or peanut butter on the celery sticks, well, that's just another story!
