I agree with Doctor What: Nice. Soldering is something that cannot be taught by a book or static photos. Watching a short demo is about all it takes.

I haven't soldered a real project in years, but I always tinned my leads first.

Soldering is easy, but you need to get a feel for how long it takes to heat the parts up sufficiently. When I first started, I was paranoid about damaging parts, so I'd 'dash' in and out. Hopefully a video gives people a sense of how long it should take.
