lol, hidden stapler... imagine you have a stapler and a guy was breaking into your house, what would you do?

step 1: let free bottom part of stapler
step 2: hit the guy with the stapler multiple times around his head area (be careful not to hit the jugular (unless you wanna kill the guy))
step 3: call the police while the guy is running away in agony

death... be reasonable it would most likely more affective if you held the bottom and impaled the attacker with the stapling end. But I see where your coming from.

Mine doesn't go in that far, only travels like 3 feet.

At that range I could just whack the person with the stapler and do more damage.

OMG, was this really useful for someone? xD

I have a suggestion: use one of those powerful staplers wich are used to put staples in wood, etc. The staple will go far away!

What you do is while it's in tacking mode, you swing it. Aim to hit them in the head and embed a few staples there.

even if you somehow manage to launch a staple farther then 3 feet, it still won't have the velocity or stopping power to cause any serious damage.

That's why I keep Dad's old Swingline within easy reach on my desk. 1: it's all metal. 2: it's heavy 3: did I mention it's all metal and heavy? 4: I've used it once to defend the desk against someone breaking in. The guy left with blood all over himself and 8 staples in his head.

I have wasted numerous staples doing this before. Since my stapler is not very powerful I also give it a bit of a flicking motion to get them farther. Also not all staplers (including mine) do not have a lever to put it in attack mode.
