Step 1: Connect Android Device to a Computer

You need to take out USB cable in order to connect the android device to the computer. Then open MobileTrans on your computer. There are four main functions you can see when the program starts. They are: phone to phone transfer, back up your phone, restore from backup and erase old phone. Click Back up your phone to the next window.

Step 2: Select Data and Start Backing Up Your Data

In this page, you can see the device name being displayed on the left side of the program. This software allows making backup of everything, including contacts, music, messages, videos, photos and call logs.

You need to choose the data from the box. Then click start copy button and select a local folder to store the backup data. Don’t disconnect the android phone during this process.
