I dont get why people cant grasp something like this, I mean honestly if you lack imagination then why are you playing with K'NEX? lol. I'll give you guys a quick tutorial. Take the original ball tower kit that K'NEX released. build it... now extend its hieght by a few feet and then start adding onto it.. It is very clear that this is how this project started you can even see the original 'dispenser' at the top and the initial starts down each side he just added a ton to it. I am NOT saying this didnt take a lot of effort or creativity, but that you have a commercially available starting point to do something like this on your own. So don't be hating on someone with some good creativity (and a lot of free time ;) )

Why should he?  Speaking as another person who builds ball machines, I maintain two philosophies:

1) Anyone who wants a large-scale ball tower like this should build their own.  If they're too lazy to use their own imagination, they shouldn't be asking other people to build for them.

2) It can be very hard to follow instructions for something that convoluted, and it would take months to create them (and months to build).

And you can't market that kind of ball machine.

You just can't.  Try marketing one of your own deluxe ball machines, and see how well it does.

I'm actually surprised K'Nex still sells the 6-foot Ferris wheels; $500 for 8500 pieces is a scam, especially since most parents don't think it's worthwhile to spend that kind of money on something too difficult for their kids to build (bear in mind: the majority of the people who build with K'Nex are children--by the time they hit preteen/teen, they move on to other things).
