Introduction: How to Change a Tire

Tools/Materials to have:
1.Car Jack
2. Socket Wrench
3. Spare Tire
4. Flat Surface

Step 1: Flat Surface

If car is on hill, car will roll when car is raised up.

Step 2: Loosen Lug Nuts With Socket Wrench

Loosening the lug nuts on the flat tire with all them to be easier to take off when jacked up

Step 3: Raise the Car Up

Using the car jack, raise the car up so that the tire can be removed. You will have to place the car jack under the side of the car so that the jack can lift the side where the damaged tire is up into the air.

Step 4: Remove Nuts

Now with the Socket Wrench you will continue to remove those nuts that were already loosen. You can also use your hand if they are already loose.

Step 5: Change Tire With Spare

Now take off old flat tire and put on brand new/ spare tire, making sure that the wholes on the rim of the tire are place perfectly in place that the nuts can screw onto the bolts.

Step 6: Attach Lug Nuts

With your hand or with the socket wrench put the lug nuts back on, but do not try to tighten them while the car is suspended in the air.

Step 7: Lowering Car

- Using the car jack, lower the car back down to the floor all the way that jack can be removed without any force.
- Then make sure that the lug nuts are tighten on the tire.
