Step 1: The App Is Opening and Running.
Step 2: Move Your Mouse to the Very Top of Your Screen Until It Turns Into the Shape of a Hand.
These two pictures demonstrate how the mouse changes shape to that of a hand. When you view the close up picture, you will notice that the hand is open and flat.
Step 3: With the Mouse at the Top of the Screen, Click and Hold the Left Mouse Button (you Will Need to Keep Holding the Left Mouse Button for the Next Two Steps).
Step 4: While Still Holding the Left Mouse Button, Move the Mouse Toward the Bottom of the Screen, Do Not Let Go of the Left Mouse Button Yet.
Step 5: When the App Reaches the Bottom of the Screen, Release the Left Mouse Button.
When your smaller app window can no longer move down on the screen, you can let go of the left mouse button. Once you release the left mouse button, the app will be closed and the computer will return to the Start Menu screen. In the next step you will see that we are back to the Start Screen. You will also learn how you can verify that the app is actually closed.
Step 6: Move Your Mouse to the Far Upper-left Corner of the Computer Screen.
Step 7: With Your Mouse Still in the Upper-left Corner of the Screen, Move the Mouse Down Just a Little Bit.
Good luck and enjoy your Microsoft Apps!
